What we collect. What we don't.

Effective May 1, 2026. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice. We'll update this as ProsPosal grows; substantive changes will be flagged at sign-in.

Account data

When you sign up we store your email address and a salted password hash via Supabase Auth. We also store your business name, trade type, default markup, and (if you upload one) your company logo.

Proposal content

Job scopes, line items, blueprints, and notes you save inside ProsPosal are stored in our Supabase database. Blueprint files are stored in private object storage with row-level security keyed to your user ID — only you and the systems acting on your behalf can read them. Proposal PDFs we render at your request are not retained.

What we share

Job scopes and blueprints are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the proposal narrative, line item suggestions, and blueprint takeoff. Anthropic's commercial terms prohibit them from training models on this data. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see card numbers.

What we don't sell

We don't sell, rent, or trade your data. We don't advertise to your clients. The only emails sent from ProsPosal are: (1) account emails to you, and (2) proposal emails you explicitly hit "Send" on.

Deleting your account

Email hello@prosposal.com and we'll delete your account, all proposals, and uploaded blueprints within 30 days.
